The riboxx¢ç sequence motif increases the efficiency of the gene silencing by enhancing the loading of the antisense strand to the RISC complex. As a consequence, much less IBONI¢ç siRNA is needed for an effective gene silen-cing with a subsequent reduction of off-target effects.
