Amintra NiHIS and CoHIS are affinity resins precharged with Nickel or Cobalt designed for simple and rapid purification of recombinant HIStagged protein from cell lysate under denaturing or native conditions. Amintra NiHIS and CoHIS resin consists of 45-165 ¥ìm agarose beads covalently coupled to a chelating group. Typically binding capacity of 10 mg HIS6x-tagged protein/ml resin.

 
Crude extract (lane 2) containing HIS-tagged glutaryl acylase (left) and HIS-tagged fucolose-1-aldolase (right) were batch purified using Amintra NiHIS resin (lane 3) and a competitor resin (lane 4). Amintra resin provides higher purity and yield compared to the competitor resin.
